AI Search Diagnostics
AIVISIBLE checks how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity & co. present your brand – with 12 AI models, in ten query languages, in your target markets worldwide. The result: a premium PDF report with clear recommendations.
What is GEO?
More and more decision-makers ask AI assistants instead of search engines. GEO describes how visible your company is in these answers – and what you can do so that AI models name you correctly and more often.
Getting started
You don't need to know the jargon. On this page we explain step by step what is changing, what it means for your company and what we do for you.
Many people no longer type their question into a search engine; they ask an AI assistant – a program such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity that answers in full sentences. Instead of a list of ten links they get a written answer that usually names only a few companies. Those who are not mentioned are often not considered at all.
Generative Engine Optimization, GEO for short, covers all measures that ensure AI assistants know a company, describe it correctly and name it in relevant answers. It complements classic search engine optimization (SEO) – it does not replace it.
Behind every AI assistant is a language model (LLM) that has learned from very large amounts of text and increasingly searches the web live. They tend to name companies for which there is clear, consistent and easily accessible information – on their own website, in directories, articles and reviews. Providers do not disclose exactly how they weigh this; what ends up in the answers, however, can be measured.
Buyers and decision-makers also use AI assistants for preliminary research: finding, comparing and shortlisting suppliers. Specialised mid-sized companies are often leaders in their niche yet barely visible in AI answers – because the models find too little reliable information about them. This gap can be closed deliberately.
We ask twelve AI models realistic questions of the kind your target customers would ask – in their language (ten languages to choose from), in your markets. We record whether your company is named, in which position, with which facts, and which competitors appear instead. You receive a PDF report with a score, findings and a prioritised action plan, plus ready-to-use files for your website.
Free quick check
A technical quick check of your website – real and instant. It checks whether AI crawlers (the reading programs of AI providers, such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot) may read your pages, whether an LLM file exists, and whether sitemap, HTTPS, structured data, Open Graph, language attribute and headings are set up properly.
We record the domain, e-mail, optional name, result, time of consent and a hash of your IP address; a short automated check may query a single AI model. How twelve models actually mention your company is shown by the paid AI visibility analysis. Up to three domains per visitor.
The shift
One search, ten links. The prospect compares on their own, clicks through websites and forms a view.
One question to ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity – for instance: “Which law firm in Munich specialises in employment law?” The answer names one to three firms.
Whoever is missing from that answer is never even considered – regardless of how well the website ranks on Google.
Generative Engine Optimization
Be visible where people ask today.
Generative Engine Optimization – GEO for short, also called LLMO, GAIO or AEO – describes how companies appear in the answers of generative AI systems: whether they are named, in what position, in what context and with which facts.
Whereas classic SEO aims for positions in search result lists, GEO is about language models understanding a company as a relevant, trustworthy address – and describing it correctly. Without clear, machine-readable information, models pass over a company or repeat outdated and incorrect details.
Glossary
Explained briefly and without jargon.
Market development
In 2024 and 2025, optimising for AI answers was new territory – experimental, modest in effort and a clear head start for early movers.
As AI assistants are used more widely, agencies, corporations and specialist providers are investing increasingly in this field. Competition for visibility in AI answers is growing and entry is becoming more demanding.
In many places classic SEO delivers fewer direct visits, because AI overviews answer questions immediately. Those who understand and shape their visibility in AI answers early are present where decisions are increasingly prepared – in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.
Scope of services
Twelve AI models, queried repeatedly: we measure the share of relevant industry questions in which your company is named or listed as the top recommendation.
Drafts for an LLM file and structured data (JSON-LD) in the root of your website – so AI systems can capture services, locations and contacts correctly.
We show which sources the models rely on and how your company can be positioned more clearly as the address for your field in trade publications and knowledge sources.
AI recommendations arise in an advisory context. Being named there reaches prospects at a moment when they are already preparing a decision.
Structured data following Schema.org and an LLM file to current standards – as a ready-to-use template for your web team or, if you wish, with our support.
AI systems change constantly. Regular follow-up analyses make developments visible and show where competitors are gaining ground.
Method
Every question is asked several times, every answer assessed individually – and all raw data remains documented.
We capture your company, services, target markets and key competitors, and record a block of facts as a reference.
From this we build a set of realistic customer questions in six categories: direct search, recommendation, comparison, local search, problem and trust. Neutral questions contain neither your name nor your domain.
Every question is put to the twelve AI models in the selected language, for the selected markets – and several times, because AI answers vary.
Every answer is recorded: top recommendation, mentioned, domain only or not mentioned. Plus list position, cited sources, competitors named and a check for incorrect facts.
All neutral answers combine into the AI Visibility Score – overall, per model and per question category. All raw answers remain documented.

GEO is about how companies appear in the answers of AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity – whether they are named, in what position and with which facts.
Essentially none: Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Large Language Model Optimization (LLMO), Generative AI Optimization (GAIO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and AI SEO are different names for the same discipline – visibility in AI answers. AIVISIBLE measures all of it.
Management summary, methodology, results, competitor analysis, sources and citations, brand perception with fact check, technical on-site analysis, action plan, implementation package and an appendix with results per question.
Insight costs €990 one-off, Strategy €1,990 one-off, Presence €390 per month. Custom requests welcome by email. All prices are final prices.
An additional PDF report included in every package – with the analysis in Insight and Strategy, and with every measurement in Presence. It technically checks how AI crawlers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot or GrokBot actually fetch your website: robots file, bot blocks and firewall rules, text without JavaScript, structured data and the LLM file – summarised in a score from 0 to 100. Diagnosis plus cause: the analysis shows what the AI models say about your company, the readability check shows technically why.
Usually one to three working days after ordering and agreeing the profile. You receive the report by e-mail and in the client portal.
We only process the information required for the analysis. Payment is handled by Stripe; reports are provided via personal, time-limited download links.
